James O'Shaughnessy is a member of Macrovision Solutions' Board of Directors.

Mr. O'Shaughnessy served as a member of Gemstar-TV Guide International's Board of Directors from October 2004 until May 2008, when the acquisition of Gemstar by Macrovision Solutions Corporation was completed and Mr. O'Shaughnessy became a member of the Macrovision Solutions Board of Directors.  Mr. O'Shaughnessy currently conducts a consulting practice in the field of intangible intellectual asset management and also serves as a principal in Lake Street Holding, LLC, a company devoted to technology management. From 1996 until his retirement in 2004, Mr. O'Shaughnessy served as vice president and chief intellectual property counsel at Rockwell Automation. Prior to his service with Rockwell, Mr. O'Shaughnessy was a partner with Foley & Lardner, specializing in the firm's intellectual property practice. Mr. O'Shaughnessy holds a B.S. in materials engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
